Does Finn’s have a kitchen?
No, we do not; however, you are more than welcome to bring food in or have it delivered here. Our address is 317 Poyntz Avenue. Please just let the bartender know that you have ordered food and where you are sitting, so that they can make sure that you get the food when it is delivered. We do, however, have a small selection of prepackaged snacks for your convenience including assorted chips, nuts, beef jerky, soft pretzels, nacho cheese, salsa, pickle bites, pickled eggs, spicy pickled sausages, and popcorn.
Does AJ’s NY Pizzeria deliver to Finn’s?
Yes, in fact they do!! All you need to do is place an order online at https://ajsnypizza.com/, and in the Name field, type Finn’s, followed by your full name, and then where you are sitting in the bar so that they can find you, i.e., at bar, near pool table, in booth, by front windows, etc.
Do you run tabs?
Yes we do. We will scan your card and our POS system pre-authorizes your card for $25.00. Your card will be handed back to you at that point. If your card does not pre-authorize, you will be asked for another card. If we are unable to pre-authorize your card, you will not be able to run a tab and will need to pay as you go, either by running the card every round or by paying with cash.
Why do I see a pending $25.00 charge on my credit/debit card?
This is the amount we pre-authorize your card for when you ask to run a tab. This charge will not remain on your card. If your tab is less or more than the $25.00, the charges will be adjusted accordingly. It may take several days for your bank to adjust the charges. If after seven business days, you still have a question, then please reach out to us and/or your bank.
Do you open early for K-State and Chiefs Football Games?
Yes, we certainly do! We typically open about 1/2 hour before gametimes if they occur before our regularly scheduled opening time, which is 1:00 on the weekends. We also turn the jukebox off during the games and turn the TV volume way up.
How many pool tables do you have and what is the price to play?
We have two tables and the price is $1.50 per game. From 4 PM – 10 PM on Tuesdays, the north table is half price, $.75 per game. The south table takes only quarters and the north one takes both quarters and bills. We do not reserve the tables, it is first come, first serve.
Do you have a Jukebox?
Yes we do! We have a Touch Tunes Jukebox. This is the only music that plays in the bar other than when we have live music or different events. The jukebox does not take credit/debit cards. This function has been disabled by Touch Tunes. You can either put cash in it or download their app to purchase credits. There is an option to purchase a fast pass to play your music first and jump before all other songs in the queue. Please keep in mind that we do not refund money if you do not get to hear your songs before you leave.
Is Finn’s a safe place/is it all inclusive?
Yes it is! Safety and security are our top priority. If for some reason you do not feel safe, then please let the bartender or security person on staff know immediately and the issue will be resolved as quickly as possible. We welcome people from all walks of life: all races, all nationalities, all genders, all lgbtq+ individuals, all religions, and we strive to have everyone get along.
How many big screens do you have?
We have eight big screen TV’s ranging in size from 43 to 85 inches.
Do you close the bar for private parties?
We typically do not close the entire bar for private parties; however, if you are looking to reserve an area of the bar for a special occasion or party, we’d be more than happy to accommodate you. Please just let us know ahead of time so that we can work with you to determine which area of the bar works best for you. You can always have food catered in or bring your own food in. However, we never say never, so we may consider closing the bar for a private event. You would just need to reach out to us by completing a Contact Form under the Contact tab on the home screen and select Host a Special Occasion in the Subject field to discuss the details.
I forgot to close my tab, what happens?
If you forgot to close your tab, we will automatically close it for you at the end of the night and apply a 20% gratuity amount. Since we do not keep your card, there is no need for you to come in the next day to close it unless you would like a receipt. However, you can always reach out to us and we can email or text it to you.
Why do I see a large party gratuity charge on my receipt?
For any tab over $100.00, we automatically add a 20% gratuity to the check. You are more than welcome to add an additional tip when you close out the tab.
I’m a musician and I’m interested in playing there, how do I reach out to you?
Please complete a Contact Form under the Contact tab on the home screen and select Musician in the Subject field and submit samples of your music/performances. We will then be in touch with you. Please keep in mind that we typically have solo or small acoustic acts perform on Thursdays from 8 PM – 11 PM and larger bands on very few select Saturdays from 9 PM -1 AM and we never charge a cover. Our occupancy is 135.
Can I get cash back on my card to use to play games?
No you cannot; however, for your convenience, there is an ATM located in the bar with a $3.50 ATM transaction fee.
Are you 21 and over only?
We welcome all ages before 9 PM, at which point it is then 21 and over from 9 PM to 2 AM.
